So basically what you get is a GT racing game primarily that can allow you to run long endurance events up to 600 minutes (10 hours) or 600 laps (some tracks will take way more than 24 hours to complete 600 laps, so be warned).

I'm a low-budget gamer so I can't afford to just drop 65 Euro, or even USD in my case, as SuperEgo points out is the best overall deal. I mainly keep Race 07 around for nostalgia and to race on certain tracks that either aren't in RaceRoom (such as Puebla) or which I haven't gotten for RaceRoom yet.
